Januvia, safe for diabetes but risks heart attack patients

The study at TECOS (Trial Evaluating Cardiovascular Outcomes with Sitagliptin), collected data from more than 14,000 people aged 50 and above who had type 2 diabetes and a history of cardiovascular problems. The researchers focused on 14% of the participants who were aged 75 and were the oldest age group. The group had HbA1c rates of at least 6.5% but not higher than 8%. Among older patients who have well-controlled type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease, sitagliptin had neutral effects on cardiovascular risk and raised no significant safety concerns.

A study report stated that Januvia (sitagliptin) is prescribed for the treatment of type 2 diabetes and proved safe for older patients with a history of cardiovascular disease. It is said that this acts to reduce blood glucose levels as it inhibits a dipeptidyl peptidase enzyme. Januvia is intended for the treatment of type 2 diabetes and should only be used after consultation with the doctor. People with type 2 diabetes are said to be prone to heart problems. Due to increased blood pressure, heart disease, or stroke, the reasons may be.
It was developed by the Oxford Institute for Diabetes research that sitagliptin is a dramatically new prescription drug for managing type 2 diabetes without major safety concerns. Sitagliptin is a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) blocker that helps boost the body's insulin by increasing levels of sugar.

Before taking Januvia during labor, you will first contact the doctor because it is uncertain about the effects it can bring. When you experience any side effects, such as upper respiratory infection, sore throat, and nausea, you need to see a doctor right away.
It is usually taken together with a healthy diet and daily exercise and can be used in combination with other diabetes medications including metformin. Cardiovascular disease is due to smoking, high sugar, or unbalanced cholesterol as blood vessels are impaired. Individuals with type 2 diabetes are therefore necessary for healthy exercise and eating to treat their disease.  Prescription refill is the method by which a medical provider may receive a new prescription and acquire the medications they are already receiving in a pharmacy. You can refill Januvia from any Canadian online pharmacies at less cost and continue the treatment without any disturbances.
